Vertex Open Gear Grease is a metal-to-metal lubricant for gear wheel and wire rope lubrication. The product is suitable for use in open gears and on wire ropes, especially highly loaded construction and mining equipment. Vertex Open Gear Grease can be used in drive train gears, elevators, mechanical presses, power shears, wire winch ropes and ski lifts. It contains a blend of high viscosity index synthetic oils, rust and oxidation inhibitors, selected extreme pressure additives, solid lubricants, tackifier and an enhanced thickener system. Contains 20%+ molybdenum disulfide and micro graphite.

• Solid lubricants protect from galling, pitting, welding, and excessive wear, especially under heavy loads and slow or vibratory movements.
• Applications include: Cranes, Wire Ropes & Chains, Hoists, Ring Gears, Open Gears rotating at low, speed and high power, Rail pulleys, Ski lifts and all applications requiring a weather resistant lubricant.

Select this option if your order includes large pack-size products (200L+), and you require a direct pump-over service. Not all products are eligible for pump-over; eligible products will have a tick box option at checkout. Please tick the items you wish to have pumped over. - Courier/ Freight
Select this option if your delivery address is outside our service area or you require delivery outside of standard times. Your order will be shipped via a third-party carrier, either by courier or bulk freight, depending on the size and weight. If you have specific carrier instructions or wish to use a preferred carrier already set up with us, please mention this in the order notes at checkout.
