The Science of Machinery Protection.
Performance is not a claim; it is a discipline. Discover the precision formulation behind Vertex Lubricants.
Performance Born in the Garage.
We treat lubrication as an exact science, not a guessing game. Every Vertex product is formulated using the same Tier-1 additive packages and base oils as the world’s largest multinationals. By partnering with global leaders, we ensure absolute specification compliance and integrity in every drop.
Powered by the World's Best Chemistry.
The performance of any high-end lubricant is dictated by its additive package. Vertex sources exclusively from the world’s leading additive manufacturers—Lubrizol, Infineum, Oronite, and Afton. Continuous R&D by these partners ensures our lubricants meet the modern requirements of global OEMs.

How a Finished Lubricant is Made
The equation behind every high-performance lubricant
Base Oils (70-90%)
The foundation. Mineral or Synthetic fluids that carry the load.

Additives (10-30%)
Viscosity modifiers, detergents, and anti-wear agents from Tier-1 partners.

Finished Lubricant
Engineered for specific protection.
The Blending Process
Precision manufacturing from selection to delivery

Selection
Premium base oils are selected based on viscosity and purity.

Blending
Additives are introduced under precise heat and agitation. Viscosity modifiers are carefully managed to avoid shear damage during blending.

Filtration
The finished oil is passed through a fine filtration system to ensure industry-standard cleanliness.

Filling
Approved fluid is filtered and packaged into drums, pails, or bulk tanks by weight to ensure accuracy.
Case Study
The Grease "Sponge" Structure.
Grease is a semi-solid lubricant. Think of it like a sponge holding water: the thickener (sponge) holds the oil (water) in place until pressure releases it to lubricate the moving part.
Base Oil (80-95%)
Solubilises additives and provides lubrication.
Thickener (5-20%)
The "Sponge" that gives grease its consistency (Lithium, Calcium, Complex).
Additives (0-10%)
Enhances performance (EP, Anti-wear, Rust inhibitors).
The Grease Manufacturing Process
Precision engineering in four critical steps

Raw Material Preparation
Base oils, thickeners and additives are selected, measured and charged to the vessel.
This stage includes preparing the base oil and thickener system for the grease-making process.

Thickener Formation & Cooking
The thickener is formed and cooked to build the grease structure.
For soap greases, this is where the saponification reaction takes place. Heat is applied to develop the desired consistency and structure.

Cooling & Finishing
The batch is cooled in a controlled way and performance additives are blended in.
This step finalises the grease structure and allows oils and additives to be incorporated for the required performance.

Homogenising & Packaging
The grease is milled, deaerated, tested and packed.
Final processing ensures a smooth, uniform product before filling into cartridges, pails, drums or other packaging.
Every Batch Tested.
No product leaves our facility without a Certificate of Analysis (COA). We adhere to strict ISO requirements during manufacturing to guarantee consistency.
Backed by the
Vertex Warranty.
Any spec that we claim whether OEM approved or meets and exceeds is backed by the Vertex Comprehensive Warranty. We don’t just sell oil; we underwrite the performance of your machinery.
